The Arrow

As a Mass Communication graduate from Southeast Missouri State University, I contributed to The Arrow, the university’s award-winning student-run news organization. Every Monday, I worked in the Arrow Labs, reporting, writing, and collaborating on multimedia projects. Below are examples of my work with The Arrow, including news articles I’ve written, podcasts I’ve contributed to, and social media campaigns I’ve developed.

Stories I've covered

What's Your Definition of an Athlete?

As part of a collaborative group project, I worked alongside two classmates to create a multimedia piece titled "Exploring and Expanding the Definition of Athlete: It’s More Than Just D1." This project aimed to highlight the diverse experiences of athletes beyond Division I programs, showcasing stories that often go untold. This video was featured on both The Arrow’s Facebook and Instagram pages, helping amplify voices across the SEMO athletic community.
